What to Expect

We will pick you from Colombo, Negombo and suburbs and our destination: Wilpattu national park is one of a best areas to encountering the Sri Lankan leopard (Panthera pardus kotiya), a leopard subspecies endemic to Sri Lanka. It was first described in 1956 and Since 2008, the Sri Lankan leopard has been listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List. This name “Wilpattu” was given to the national park because of the existence of “Willus” (natural lakes – sand-rimmed water basins or depressions that filled with rainwater). We will explore the area by an open concept 4×4 safari jeep for the terrestrial animals such as Sri Lanka elephant, sloth bear, axis deer, monkeys, tufted gray langur, reptiles such as monitors, crocodiles and wide range of birds and many more!. You will serve by evening snacks during the experience. Upon completion, we will reach where we have started along with the interesting memories grabbed through the experience..

Special note:
Kindly do note that the min no of participants for this experience is two and if you are a solo traveler, please reach us via “Enquiry form” to let us know the possible dates for you to participate. We will do our best to take you on board for a shared experience. Happy holidays! 🙂
