What to Expect

We will pick you from Colombo, Negombo or suburbs and the Galle Fort (Dutch fort) and the Lighthouse by the Bay will be the key icons of this experience. It was built in 1588 by Portuguese, extensively fortified by the Dutch. Even after more than 430 years, it maintains a polished appearance. We will walk through the narrow streets of Fort complex and our expert will educate you about the colonial era of 1505 – 1948. Our next attraction is the Japanese Peace Pagoda, contains a circular deck for sweeping views of the surrounding landscape including Indian ocean. Then we will visit Dalawella beach where you can enjoy the sun and the beach. Other than that, the palm tree rope ride near the frog rock will be an interesting to try. You will enjoy complimentary sea food lunch (vegan option is also available) in a beach restaurant and after relaxing for some time we will reach the famous Ariyapala mask museum in Ambalangoda to see how these handcrafted masterpieces are made. Finally, we will reach Madu river to have a relaxing boat ride through mangroves while enjoying the flora and fauna. Later we will head back to where we have started along with the memories grabbed across the experience..

Special note:
Kindly do note that the min no of participants for this experience is two and if you are a solo traveler, please reach us via “Enquiry form” to let us know the possible dates for you to participate. We will do our best to take you on board for a shared experience. Happy holidays! 🙂
